Nexus: (nek’sus) n. 1. a tie; link; 2. a connected series.

Example: the point where Good and Evil meet.

Everyone knows the Forces of Good and Evil have battled since the beginning of time. What they don’t know is that there are Warriors who fight constantly on their behalf in tiny pockets of our world known as Hollows—–places where magic runs rampant and dreams are far more than just idle imaginings. One such pocket is called Lloyd’s Hollow and one such Warrior is Buggy Crenshaw.

In Search of the Nexus is a series of books that chronicles twelve-year-old Buggy Crenshaw’s wild and often funny adventures from the time she first discovers magic (The Bungler’s Paradox) to the time she finally locates the Nexus and must make the most important decision of her life—–whether or not to destroy it.

Buggy tells each of her stories personally after having kept meticulous track of their details in her Demon Slayer’s Logbook. In her prologues and epilogues, she makes it clear she’s writing in retrospect of things that could’ve happened long ago, or even just yesterday. But whichever it was, Buggy’s kept secret, for as she learned all too well in The Deadwood Principle, “Knowing too much can be as dangerous as knowing too little...Or, dreadfully, even more so.”

If you’re ready to follow in Buggy’s footsteps, begin at the beginning with The Bungler’s Paradox, and as Buggy would say, by all means, do dream big...
